第七届亚欧首脑会议二十四日下午在北京人民大会堂开幕。这是中国继奥运会之后举办的又一重大国际盛会。
亚欧会议成立于5 1996年，目前6有45个成员7，其中亚洲17个，包括东盟10个成员、东盟秘书处、中国、日本、韩国、印度、巴基斯坦和蒙古；欧洲成员 28个，包括欧盟27个成员国和欧盟委员会。亚欧会议是亚洲和欧洲之间级别8最高、规模最大的政府间论坛9。本届会议将围绕10对话合作互利共赢11的主题，就国际经 济金融形势12、粮食安全及救灾13合作、可持续发展、国际和地区形势、加强不同文明对话等议题进行深入讨论。
