Fasting for Democracy (August 31)

西藏流亡1政府今天宣布2,北京奧運會結束後,達賴喇嘛將發起一項全球絕食3行動,以強調「西藏理想」。

正在法國訪問的達賴喇嘛今天稍早會晤4了法國第一夫人卡拉布妮,他並敦促5中國「向民主之途前進」。達賴喇嘛的發言人6說,這位七十三歲的西藏精神領袖將於八月三十一日帶領7全球各地的信徒8,展開「象徵性9的十二小時絕食」。
